I would like to thank Brian Wood, Bob Margolis, Michael Cox and Alan Bourne and Gordon Read for the four fairly simple projects they described some time ago.

More particularly that they went to great trouble to include dimensioned drawings and then, for non-engineers like me, they gave instructions on how to make their excellent projects.

Without the drawings and instructions I would not have been able to attempt them.

I am well aware that compared to most of the readers of MEW I do not rate very highly but I do enjoy myself (even at 83) in my workshop and hope that some of you highly skilled people will think of me when you write your articles.

I am gradually working my way through the archive and hope to find some more bits and pieces I can make.

In the meantime, a very happy Christmas and Peaceful New Year to all who read these forums.

we may be skilled in different ways than you but i'm 30 years less experienced than you and still prone to lucky mistakes.
