Romulus Castings

I am trying to persuade my model engineering club to purchase the castings for a Romulus rather than a Wombat locomotive.

However, I am struggling to find somewhere to acquire the required castings for the project.

We are located in South Australia if this helps.

I doubt you will find them locally but Reeves in the UK do them.

It would be worth looking through the castings to see what could be done from barstock as even here the castings are a lot more expensice than a bit of bar to cut the part from and that is without postage costs to AU. For example CI bar for the front covers could be had for 1/10th the cost of castings before postage.
