        Hi all,

Yesterday I was using the mill for some light facing in aluminium and the x feed was working fine and has never beeen a problem.

This morning when I came to do another job the unit seems to have a fault.

The power light no longer seems to come on yet the table feed to the LHS works exactly as it should but the other way nothing happens at all.

I have checked all fuses etc and all are good.

I am rubbish at electrics and am loatht o get inside the unit without some good advice please.

        Regards, Martin

Is the limit switch ok? did you mount the limit switch?

on mine if the switch is pressed it stops travel one way yet allows you to run the other way

Though it doesnt kill the power light

Hi Ian, I did not fit the limit switches. Unit has been Soooooo useful and I thank you again for all your help with it.

            Problem does seem rather odd.

Ian, Doh embarrassed, you were spot on! The switch which was hanging down the back out of the way had been nudged to on when moving something else, all OK now, many thanks! You live and learn!
