Parting tool Inserts

Hi everyone, I have been given a Valenite Parting blade holder (VDG2015S) and parting blade 11-W-86 (?) but unfortunately no inserts. Could anyone please recommend any inserts suitable for general parting. I have tried contacting Walter GB but so far they have declined to answer. Many thanks in advance.

Try Jenny Blackwell at JB Cutting Tools, they specialise in inserts and may well have a match. They are a nice friendly bunch too and are keen to help

From the Walter web site it is difficult to decide what the dimensions of the holders are and so it also means that without the holder to hand it is not easy to suggest anything. The inserts could be Walter proprietary.
