Helping Dad Series

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the drawings for the "Helping Dad" series in Model Engineer mag.I sent an email to the mag and to the hobby store they both said to check with you folks, Does any one have any ideas?

These engines are great – Thanks Stew for the excellent instructions – I am looking to make either the Vertical or the Over Crank next

Just thought I would post my all steel version of dad's engine, just a few bits of brass. I seem to spend all my time making tools etc. but occasionally I actualy do a little Model Engineering.

Both nice engines I think if we get a MEX back then we should have a Potty trophy, can't think what the cup should be like though

JES are you willing to divolge what shade of green that is as I would not mind painting something with that in the future.

Thanks for posting your engine picture it looks very nicely finished also

I think there have been quite a few made, and I've seen quite a few picture of the finished engine so I think there should be enough for a Gallery

My Gran and Granddad lived in a Railway cottage with an outside loo, they had a pot under the bed to save a cold night time trip down the yard, now I wonder what happened to it

The Paint was bought at our local supermarket, and were the only suitable paint/colours, I don't know if this brand is available in the UK. All new equipment will probably feature this colour as I have 500ml of the stuff.
