I ordered a centre finder from Arc yesterday at 12:52. It arrived today at 08:30.

I had expected it early next week and had planned accordingly, so I now have a problem. Workshop or tree stump removal! As it is dry, ( I live near Ilkley) tree stumps will win, but as the stumps are right next to the workshop door and coffee breaks can take such a long time . . . . .

Thank you Arc for the service. May it long continue.

              That's true,

Last time I was there didn't even get a glass of water let alone a bloody coffee.

              Just saying…………..

                Thanks Geoff,

I have to be honest. We are never 100% sure about how our Royal Mail performs in certain areas of our country. Some regions are better than others. Currently, certain packages below a certain value and weight go by 2nd class post. Above certain weight and value by 1st class, and others by courier, for most U.K. mainland destinations.

Overseas are proving to be a little difficult/variable, for the transit time being taken.

So, although I am grateful for Geoffs comments, it is difficult for us to be certain about transit times.

                Thanks again, Ketan at ARC.

Plenty of tea breaks here. Just not when debtors like J.S. visit. He still owes me a pound plus interestcheeky

For not only delivery but diligence, common sense and good manners the people at Arceurotrade take some beating.

                      Liar, liar, pants on fire.

You actually owe me two pounds.

That pound coin you keep using in your photo's is mine and you never paid for the last bag of kosher chips.

                          Ketan,

Next time you give JS a cookie with his tea, make sure it has one of those Stevenson blocks concealed in it – that'll teach 'im !!

Now that's what I call dedication, using a centre finder to find the exact centre of a tree stump.

That'll get the flat earth society spitting into their Horlicks

I thought I was the only one that used an engine hoist to pull tree stumps out.

Useful tip that. Not thought of using an engine crane though only aquired one a few months ago. Better than the high lift jack that is pushing down on the root as you try to pull the trunk up.
As it happens I have a few ash seedlings that got away from me – 15ft tall before you can blink.

WRT deliveries. Just before xmas I had a shed arrive a few days before schedule – and at 5am! Actually convenient as I didn't have to take a day off for their 'sometime between 6am and 7pm' normal delivery.

                                        Gents,

Harking back to a discussion yesterday where Wolfie very kindly explained what happens with the ME Forum and posts getting obliterated by the ads etc on the L & RH sides (thanks for the explanation Wolfie) it's happening to me on this thread!!!

It's only when I get below the ads (Geoff Roger pic of his tree stump removal apparatus) that I can read the complete posts from then onwards.

As this thread apparently started off talking about Arc Euro Trades excellent service (seconded – usual disclaimers) I did wonder how we apparently "drited" on to tree removal! (grin).

As Wolfie said, it may well be "not a problem of this Forum" but it ain't 'arf annoying when it happens (and without wishing to snipe at anyone, honestly – this sounds exactly like the "bloody" IT department when I worked at Swissair – "it's not the system, it's the way you're using it&quot

Yeah right!!!!!!! (Then why doesn't it happen with any other of the several Forums I use regularly – regardless of if I'm on my own computer/software, as described yesterday, or when on site with a customer, using their desktop PC and software set up (ALWAYS MS please note).
