Surprisingly intact for 100 years under water. I reckon the boiler might need a survey before firing up though. Yes you would need a good sized shed in the back garden to take that one on.

Fascinating, it appears to be in surprisingly good condition, I guess it must have been low oxygen at the bottom of the lake.

A good number of locos, and traction engines have been recovered in NZ, a lot were used in river banks for flood protection.
