ME Threads What size bar?

Hi Chaps, Just to speed up a job (I’m waiting for a book delivery) Can someone let me know what size I need to turn a bar (well its a gland really) for the following threads

1/4 X32 TPI

and 3/16 X 40 tpi

1/4″ X 32 the stock bar size is 1/4″. 0.25″ or 6.35mm – 3/16″, 0.1875″ or 4.63mm

The die size is the stock bar size!. It is the tapping size for the tap which is smaller than the stock size.

Thanks dick, I wondered why I could not find the size anywhere, isnt simplicity marvellous
