When I inherited the mini lathe from my father there were a set of lathe tools with it and a box of TCMT Inserts. I am about to order some more inserts and spare screws, one tool has always had the insert and screw missing.
The tool for the screws is marked T6. All the screws I can find are T8. Has any one purchased these screws and were from.
I may upgrade to some bigger tools for the lathe. What size do other Mini lathe owners use as a matter of interest.

The screws are available on ebay, I use 8mm or 10mm tools on the mini lathe but thats because I have a qctp fitted, I can fit upto 12mm but sometimes depending on the cutter the tip can be over centerline.

I have a Warco 250V-F & have a QCTP fitted; I use 10mm tooling & can use 12 mm if need be but ,as with Hollowpoint's comment the tip can end up over center height.

                Or here:

                http://www.jbcuttingtools.com/epages/es461493.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es461493/Categories/Accessories

(once you click the screws, there's a pull-down for other diameters)

If not sure, ring them up they often have small quantities of other bits in stock that aren't listed.

Thanks folks. I haven’t heard of JB tools. They have the screws and inserts individually so that will save me buying a box of inserts. Once again thanks for the prompt replies.
