Neil, What I hated was the way things were 'set up' by the producer. "Right I want all four of you to walk up the lane in line, then Suggs read this nonsense out". Then there's the "OMG, if we can't fix this grommet, the car won't make the L2B run" (sound of worrying music). And as for measuring the distance between the front and rear axles…..for goodness sake. Engineering can be one of the most interesting of subjects so no need to dumb it down. Remember the autogyro rebuild? They spent ages reaming out a hole so it had to be 'just so'. The damned thing would still have flown if the hole had been half a thou larger or smaller. (I hate myself for watching the others in the series. I didn't know there was THREE series)
