      Good afternoon,

I have been using an old ML7 for sometime and have decided it needs some TLC after a motor failure. In the process I dismantled the swing head assy to find the countershaft and oilite bearings pretty worn.

So the quick question is – is it possible to make your own (it is the old style without woodruff keys) or do I need specially hardened steel and are there third party oilite bearings that can be machined/altered to suit.

Also – does anyone know the thread size for the 2 x adjuster screws which sit onto the eccentric shaft to adjust belt tension?

      Thanks in advance.

      Russ
