McConie’s Oscillating Engine

Has anyone completed Anthony Mount's McConie's Oscillating Engine? I can't get past the machining of the side frames as the castings supplied don't match the drawings. Help through the whole project would be much appreciated.

Mike have a look over on MEM forum, there are several build threads for this engine over there that will show how to tackle the side frames and also point out the various errors and anomolies on the drawings.

Jason. Thanks for your reply. Sorry for the late acknowledgement but it took days to appear. The Model engine website looks really interesting and I will follow up your links. Still emerging from a massive house move including disposal of all the equipment from blacksmithing business, all very chaotic.
