Copper boiler

Hello,

I have a coal-fired copper boiler which has been painted black, not particularly well I would hasten to add.

Will it be in order to remove the paint with 'Nitro Mors'. Will this product adversely affect the copper and/or bushes?

Hello Mark,

I can't see any reason why Nitro Mors would attack copper of bronze/brass based bushes. It will remove the paint as that is what is designed to do. so I say use it

Brian,

It is a lovely old boiler built by Alec Farmer in 1966. It is 6" diameter and stands about 13" tall with about 40 tubes. These boilers were built to last.

If you have not used the stripper yet – make sure you soak the stripped boiler in warm soapy water after using the “mors” and then washing well in clean water
