I found the website rather short on the information needed to make a decision on the size needed for a particular lathe.
Hi Bazyl,
You are right. Dimensions are provided by clicking on the Specification tab. However, beside the mini-lathe, no advice given for use on other lathes. This is a limitation which we are finding difficult to address for various reasons.
For example, according to the dimensions table, the stud in the middle of the 000 is 10 x 1.5mm trhread. it is a direct fit for mini-lathes which have the same size stud fitted to them. So reasonably easy retrofit for many people who have a mini-lathe with a 10×1.5mm thread stud.We dont know how much of a 'straight forward' fit this is for use on other lathes,….which is why we have given the dimensions, for a new buyer to review and ascertain its sutiability for their lathe. For some it may be a direct retrofit, and for others they may need to modify the stud and or add/change the packer below the post.
If and when we know for sure about a retrofit/suitability with or without modification for a different lathe, we may add the details to the 'more' section of that product.
