I found the 3 issues for £1 subscription offer but its not mentioned on this site.

Is this legit?

Also, i cant just pay for it, it wants me to set up a direct debit? Whats the deal with this, do i then have to make sure i cancel otherwise it carries on with normal full rate subscription?

Its legit and has been talked about before.

Yes cancel otherwise it will carry on at the normal price, unless you want to continue.

Have just renewed my Digital & print subscription for this year … .. do the free offers apply to existing members or are they just enticers for new members… can I expect the latest 'free' offer to arrive some time soon?

Anyone renewing is free to choose one of the offers.

Look in the magazine for the latest offers.

In the long term an auto-renewing DD is probably the cheapest way to subscribe, but you don't get the free gifts…
