I’ve been away from the forum for sometime, an occasional lurker only.
My main interest has always been classic motorcycles, and my workshop/machining activities have been in that connection, there is always something to do when you ride old bikes. My passion and enthusiasm has declined in recent years, I’m still interested and still have a bike but I’m leaning toward a model IC engine as a retirement project.
I’m drawn toward the Senior hit and miss casting kit from The Engineers Emporium , I like the size of it, not too small and fiddly. It’s described as easy to construct , I hope I have what it takes. If any members have made (making one) your thoughts and comments would be most welcome.
My facilities are fairly basic , garage workshop ,Myford big bore super 7 , Warco round column mill drill and GH Universal mill. Oh, and I have infinite patience .
Good to be back.
Adrian.
