It works both ways, John. I was very disappointed with the price I got when I sold a Boxford CNC in excellent working condition, because I set a low starting price and it only attracted one bidder. I honoured the sale but ever since I have always set the starting price at the minimum I would accept. I have just today sold a Raglan vertical mill which had only attracted one bidder but at least I got what I wanted for it. Of course, with the excitement of the sale I completely forgot to get the collection reference number from the buyer so I am just hoping that the positive feedback he has given me will release the money to PayPal.
