Drawing reads drill #29 x 1 1/8 dp

So I check on the chart and a #29 drill is 3.45' so why on earth do I then drill a 4.2 hole…

need to wake up a bit me thinks…

Might make an interesting thread.

Whyoh why did I use a random cast iron welding rod that I'd had for 20 years to try a tooth repair on my rockwell 10" back gear. And why did I then compound the issue by using my rare as hens teeth new 16dp 20pa gear cutter on said welding.

What i ended up with is weld that will just about file and very nearly as hard as witches what'its and a Very, Very blunt cutter that i need to grind 2mm off to get right.

I've got a lot of tee shirts with Oooops written on them.

Using a few barbell weight's as stock for some sprockets. Got to the point where the tool hit the lettering and knocked the tip off! Resharpen and next onto the Vertex in junction with a Laser to mark out…. Last mark ugh ohh too narrow and I don't have a dividing head. Mmmm

Use the pein (peen) end of a ball pein hammer to knock off filler used on my 1935 Austin Seven, and now have a few perfectly round projections to knock back later, all on a visible rear quarter panel.
