Sorry .don't know that particular table..

1 is there another grubscrew hiding down the grub screw hole?…. has been known

2.maybe try locking table and turing hand wheel to unlock it from allen bolt in center of wheel..like slackening bolt by turning nut..

handle maybe keyed onto shaft or on taper..so 2 might have no chance…

If torque won't do it try shock or heat…I suggest freezer spray…then boiling water..trying to keep rest of table dry…

Loosen the screw in the middle of the handle say ome turn and then give it a tap with a copper hammer or similar to break the taper free, Mine was a bit tight the first time I took it off.

The dial on the side is also just a standard grun screw that lets you zero the scale

He's having trouble undoing the screw, NOT removing the wheel.

I notuced that when mine was first taken apart some time ago, the "blacking" on both the bolt and washer was quite thick and tacky, but no impediment to being undone. Long reach allen key had more than sufficient leverage. Under the standard grub screw on the dial has a copper disc under it to minimise damage to the shaft under the dial, not relevant to the dividing plate issue.

Has anyone removed, or does anyone know how to remove, the MT2 bush in the center of the (similar) Vertex offering?

Thus far, 'gentle aggression' (i.e. hitting a drift) from the rear of the rotary table, without any dismantling has failed to move it. A search of t'internet hasn't turned up anything useful, but maybe my search terms are not ideal.

For future reference what was it you hit? the key, the bolt, or the handle?

I have found that electronic equipment can often be "repaired" by unplugging and simply replugging circuit boards and multi pin plugs. I found that on many occasions a diagnosis would be made and a board exchanged for a spare but when the faulty board was tested by reinstalling it was Ok. Despite having gold plated connections atmospheric pollution is able to force the connections apart creating a fault, the removal and replacement wipes the connection clean and normal service is restored. A soft pencil eraser is excellent for cleaning edge connectors. Pollution also causes problems with relays and contactors carrying low voltage low current signals. The uninitiated are amazed when a thump on a control panel chassis fixes a fault, this is usually followed by replacement at the next maintenance opportunity.
