Hi from Sheffield

Having built up a home workshop for the purpose of building my own motorbike, I've now reach a stage where I'm upgrading from a tired old boxford lathe.

I've been to see a Bantam mk1 1600. It seemed pretty good and I've put down a deposit. On reflection I'm getting paranoid that I've overlooked a whole host of stuff. I feel I know enough to know that there's alot I missed.

To cut to the chase, is there any words of wisdom regarding buying a Bantam, or better still, a kind soul in the Derby area who would help me in avoiding the buying of a lemon.
