I've just had an email from an author wondering if I had received his article sent three weeks ago – I hadn't.
This has happened before and is usually because the attachments add up to more than 10Mb, and if they are the email just disappears – I don't get it and the sender doesn't get a bounce message.
No doubt there are a few people fuming because I never got back about their magnum opus because of this.
If sending me articles and the size is bigger than about 8.5Mb, err on the side of caution and split it into multiple chunks.
Alternatively, as me for a dropbox link instead.
It's always a good idea to send me a final email (without attachments) listing the ones you have sent to make sure I got everything.
