Old blue binder bound issues of ME

Over the years my father and I were avid readers/subscribers to ME and in 1968/69 I purchased the drawings of the 1" scale ME Minnie traction engine for my father as a retirement present. Although he passed away some years ago, Minnie is parked in our study and a fine example she is. My dilemma now is that due to a shortage of space I have 10 blue folder binders of Model Engineers from Jan 1967 to August 1976, plus loose issues up to Jan 1977 and I would dearly like them to go to a good home. Technology and engineering may have moved on over the years, but these old issues are full of wonderful information and ideas. Although I can't find the right issue, I remember my father making up a superb dividing plate for our ML7 detailed in ME.

Sorry to ramble on, but looking back through these old issues of ME has brought back many happy memories.

David, Sounds like we have lost another fine engineer. I suggest you mention roughly where you are, like county, and also see if you can contact your nearest Model Engineering society as they might like a properly bound set, or have a few missing when people forget to return them to the club library.

Thanks for that Bazyle. I live near Cirencester/Cheltenham and as you suggest I will investigate a local society.
