Please could somebody give me a little advice?
I have a 1 1/2 inch scale showmans engine. The boiler is made from steel with a copper tube plate at the front with copper tubes. The firebox is steel and the tubes entering it are caulked with soft solder. It does not look like it has ever been used.
My problem is this. Will it be able to get a boiler certificate?
        What should I do?
The 2 inch gold burrel has a boiler that is close in size but would need a little tweaking. The biggest boiler I have made in the past was a large titch but I now háÄ?ek a big braising hearth and more heat.
Should I discard my steel boiler?
        Should I build a replacement?
        Should I buy a replacement?
        Any help will be great
