        HI

I have just come back from my local metal supermarket, and learned that the company has been bought out in its entirety, by a Canadian.

The new owner is in the UK and is doing a tour of all of their outlets.

Our local store is expecting a visit next week so they are busy sprucing up the place.

My hope is that they do not change the company policy of supplying small quantities, as that will effect a very large number of amateur engineers.

There is nothing on their web site ( http://www.metalsupermarkets.com/ )

Has anyone else heard any more?

        Regards

        Keith

Sounds like it could be useful for bits bigger than the modelling outlets usually stock.
Has anyone used the London one?

If you purchase metal from these people, take a mic and check the dimensions. I got sold 5/8 ” square instead of 16mm.
