I am trying to find a replacement spindle for a Record Power DMD 24A bench drill (manufactured 1996). Does anyone know how I might find one?

Hi don't think you're able to find one as this press drill is obsolete unless you try find a China made version. Anyway if you want to upgrade to a newer press drill, I will be glad to buy from you

Peter, have you tried contacting Record Power themselves?

Hello and welcome by the way.

Assuming you have a faulty spindle is a repair possible? Of course this depends on having the facilities and skills available.

Hi Mike, not worth to repair faulty spindle, cheaper to buy one. My case, I turned down the taper to accept normal power drill chuck. Of course one may need to thread it before application.
