A question for Jason, I am interested in a couple of Johns projects which you made up as a sticky but the photos are out of focus, is this because the thread is closed..? Wondered if there is a way of seeing them sharp..?

You can possibly find them by going direct to his Photobucket Album, let me know which ones you are interested in and I'll see if I can track them down later unless you fancy looking through 3000 odd images.

Ron, a bit of a convoluted solution:-

Right click on the image you want, in the dialogue box that comes up click "Copy Image Location"

Go to the address bar in your browser and paste this in should look something like this:-

              http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa102/bogstandard_photos/Later%20pics/Vicestraight01.jpg

edit the address to look like this:-

              photobucket.com/albums/aa102/bogstandard_photos/Later%20pics/Vicestraight01.jpg

Click the go button and it should take you to the image in John's Photobucket album. Takes longer to explain than do

              John

Photobucket decided to use this to stop people using their site for photo hosting for free, after they introduced charging for the service.

Just had one of those light bulb moments. I was a little late in coming to the party in respect of the well known and well loved JS. Just before his sad passing I was asking on the forum about cutting fine grooves in small internal bores and without my asking, the great man privately messaged me and said he would send me a tool to achieve the result I wanted, what a star. Anyway my light bulb moment is this (please bare in mind that my light bulbs rarely burn above 40 watt).

How about Neil running an article each month that covers some of Johns projects and thoughts, of course some will say not necessary but there would undoubtedly be a lot of knowledge made available for newbies and others who like myself have not been around on the forum for very long.

                    Neil what do you think?
