      Hi all

I am about ready to fix this 3mm plate and am still not decided on what to use.

I have thought about Roll pins, parallel pins and even these small head countersunk screws are interesting (these are M4 max, with 5mm or 6mm head options – instead of the usual 8mm) – I can make M5 or M6 versions myself. Maybe even some headless bolts or grub screws and loctite would do.

BTW – The leg parts are 10mm wide.

The roll pin already in the clamp could also be incorporated in some way (e.g. replacing it with a longer pin straight through the plate and clamp or even a thinner pin through the existing one) or I could just cover that or cut around, depending on whether it’s going to be a permanent fix.

I think any of the above will do the job as long as there are a few in contact.

I just thought I’d ask and see if anyone had any further fixing ideas?

      cheers
