I wonder if one or more of the wise subscribers can provide pointers about two things:

Firstly, can anybody kindly suggest where I might purchased a 7.3mm HSS drill where the postage isn't three times the cost of the drill.

      It's for a particular job – creating a hole to tap for M8 x 1.0mm thread.

Secondly, I'm buying various drill bits for different jobs and need an inexpensive empty 6.0mm to 10mm x 0.1mm box to keep them in.

      Any suggestions, please?

Very many thanks for your anticipated assistance.

Standard tapping drill for metric threads is size minus pitch. That gives 7mm for your thread, do you want to go up to 7.3mm for a reason because 7mm is probably easier to find.

Your question regarding a box for drills has come up in the past. It is probably easier to make your own stand  than to buy an empty box. You could buy a set, the drills in the set I have are good quality. If they break or wear or fail to drill what you want just replace the ones you use up with good quality ones as required.

You might also try Drills UK.

I have bought from them several times and found them good to deal with.
