Thimble rotary steam engine

I've been looking for any reference to this engine. From what I remember it was a commercial design advertised in ME, perhaps in the 80s or early 90s. There was no detail, but I believe it was a simple design with few moving parts and the picture showed it without any flywheel, so maybe it didn't need one. Does anyone recall this, or have any further information?

There is this one that is in William Fitt's Book "Steam and Sterling Engines you can build " but it does have a flywheel all be it 1/4" diameter

looking through the indexs there is mention of a thimble engine by Peter Cosier in 1978, will see if I have that mag later.

I never knew there was so much information on rotary steam engines in one place. There's some hours of reading (and contemplation) in there.

There's also a quantity of material about Unusual Locomotives, Unusual I.C. Engines, and other stuff likely to be of interest to forum members – thanks, Michael, that's my evenings for the first part of the week sorted..
