        Hi guys.

I'm doing a model engine which uses the same chain as fitted to the 2" Clayton. Supplied by A J Reeves. While fitting the chain, one of the legs on the split link broke . I rang Reeves to buy a couple only to be told that if I want a split link, I'll have to buy a new chain. They don't sell them separately . so could any of you lads know where I might be able to buy one ? Apart from Reeves. As I don't need more chain.

        thanks in advance.

        Dave

          What pitch is the chain?

A lot of the Gear and bearing suppliers also do chains and links, This is what HPC offer, links in the last column

Not knowing the size of a Clayton chain, this site may have something suitable it's worth a look..

              Hello J. & Mick.

thanks for the links. Very useful.

the size link I was after was 05B . I've now managed to find some on EBay.

              thanks for you help.

              Dave
