Hi, I'm helping a friend continue a 5"G "Netta" he inherited when his father passed away. I'm trying to redraw the paper templates in CAD but I'm unsure of the best way to make he top edges of the tender meet up.

As you can see in this picture **LINK** the top corners flare out and are rolled.

Is there an easy way to draw these angles and get them cut precisely?

I'd model it in 3d and measure parts of the wireframe to get the edges.

Which CAD system are you using and does it have sheet metal tools?

          Martin.

            Genius!

Thanks Martin, I completely overlooked 3d modeling and I use autocad at work! Never tried 3d yet so ill see how it goes.

            Cheers
