I bid on an auction for a surface grinder that had been sitting in a garage for 15 years, and won it with a silly low bid. It has a small work area 300 X 150 but is small and compact. I spent a week cleaning it up, painted the sliding bed area. It has a linear encoder with preset depths and autostop to 0.002mm divisions. It also came with a magnetic sine vice and a turbine dry extraction unit. The coolant pump and tank were missing so I need to come up with that.

The longitudinal hydraulic cylinder leaks at each end, which should be solved this week and the coil for the auto down motor clutch has a broken wire. I will ask a question about that in the electrical forum section.

            Good morning,

This machine and company is somewhat of a ghost. When I stumbled onto it on the auction site I looked for information. Lathes.co.uk has nothing but there were threads on Zerpanungsbude the German machining forum. If you select auto translate it is easy to read this forum.also. The below thread link has been a great help as Dirk completely disassembled his machine and documented his work. I have been in contact with him and he has answered questionsnand sent documentation.
