I've been subscribed to model engineers' workshop for a while but only recently found the online forum and classified ads. They both look really useful.

I'm interested in buying something currently advertised. Does anyone know how many posts I need to make before I'm eligible to view the contact details so I can make an offer?

It's varies and I don't know exactly how many it is at the moment. Not many, in the past between two to five. Try making a few more posts. Their purpose is to prove you're a human being rather than a bot. No need for the posts to say anything special.

Thanks for the quick replies! I've done all sorts of projects over the years, including model aircraft and rockets. I'm also a fan of old motorbikes which keep me busy with repairs and maintenance tasks. I'm looking to get more seriously into metalwork and machining in particular over the next few years.
