Are all myford beds the same width?

My ml6 is 3.5"

Want to cross slide on mine as one of things i wll be making on it needs circlip groove .

Use a recessing tool holder in the turret.

Why you want a circlip groove as wide as the bed?

If its only one of the things you are making it might be better getting something with a ready made groove.
