        Just wondered ,having bought some neodmymium(?) magnets and found them very useful sticking dial guages to my kathe is it possible to affect the electrical parts..Particularly having a speed controller .Thanks

          They also attract large quantities of ferrous swarf which you will never quite get rid of. Much better to use a switchable magnetic base. As regards the electronics? probably not.

            I wrapp them up with plastic and on a wooden stick so should be able to keep cleanish..I seem to ended up with a hundred or so so got to do something with them!
            As long as the speed controller etc is ok…Thanks KWILL
