Hi, just joined as I thought this would be a good place to get an answer to a question I have about a newly acquired Pultra 17/70 lathe (now posted in 'manual machine tools&#39 I was an industrial modelmaker, living and working in London, making pre-production prototypes for design consultancies, but took a sabaticle when children came along. 19 years later I now repair woodwind instruments.

Hi Rob, welcome to the nuthouse. Whereabouts in Hampshire are you? I am also in Hampshire, quite close to Liss/Petersfield.

I'm also an instrument maker as a hobby, mainly guitars but have made a couple of native American style flutes and do minor repairs on Saxophones.

Would love a pultra but not yet found one to my liking.

Hi Gray, small world, I'm in Petersfield. I mainly do clarinet flute and oboe, I have done a few sax but I don't keep spares for them.
