Hi from Derbyshire

I'm based north of Derby. I've been building a 5" gauge Jinty (by Martin Evans) for quite a few years. I've got a Raglan Little John lathe with vertical slide used for milling.

Up until last year I attended and engineering class at a local secondary school and found this useful as I had access to milling machines and probably more importantly advice from other like minded but mostly more experienced attendees.

I'm looking to get a milling machine such as Warco VMC or Chester 626 soon so I've been reading through the threads on here regarding those machines.

Hello Brian, yes I'm not far from you. I'll be there on the Friday with my Dad. I booked the day off a long time ago and am collecting some bits from Model Engineers Laser. Always gives me some inspiration to get on with my project(s).
