In the radio HAM exam . One question with 3 answers was , what are parasitic oscilation's. Answer 1 was ,little bugs that eat your aerial.

Ha ha – and one likely only needed more than 50% to attain the pass grade?🙂

The local college was doing a two term course, leading to the exam at the end. I enrolled, didn’t do the course and got a distinction in the exam. All ‘multiple guess’ questions and most with one clearly inappropriate answer.

C & G courses were more a measure of one’s ability to work the system, not to learn a subject, IMO.
