Hello everyone.

Just joined this forum as I have recently inherited my uncles Philip’s entire workshop.
He’s an amazing model maker – including a stunning twin cylinder steam engine which he exhibited at the Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition in 2006, & a 6ft tall grandfather clock – completed in around 2012.

I have my own bespoke furniture Business so there’s quite an overlap & I have 2 sons – one is a very keen model maker & digital artist (currently studying at Bristol school of Art) the other is a musician & we built a guitar together about 10 years ago.

that’s all for now – but will post some pics if anyone is interested?

Lots of help and advice should you need it.

There is quite an active M E Society in Bristol, so it would be worth joining..

Am sure that members would be happy to share knowledge, and possibly demonstrate, face to face.
