Face Mill

I need to get a replacement cutter. It is 2 1/2" Dia 1" bore.

I dropped it against a clamp removing it from my mill

The only one's I can find are 22mm bore. Can anyone help or is it possible to regrind this one or get a replacement tip brazed on to this one. I would like to get one with replacement inserts

All new face mills of the size you are looking for seem to be 22mm bore (Metric, of course).

What size shank are you using? 3MT? If so, have a look at eBay 191746712684

ps – or can you machine your arbor from 1" down to 22mm?

Bad Luck. Looks like it would still suffice for roughing work. It may be prudent to get a padded batter board to slip under the spindle when installing or removing cutters. 1" bore available here (no connection): **LINK**

I notice that they ship by international priority mail. I have used this outfit many times. Excellent service. Quality is according to what you are willing to pay.
