Boxford TF10.20 Centre Lathe

I am struggling to work out how to replace the drive belt on a Boxford TF10.20 centre lathe.

I have the replacement belt, but I can't figure out how to release the tension to get the new belt on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have attached a photo of the drive belt. http://www.lathes.co.uk/boxfordmodern/img10.jpg
