Unlike some of the earlier offers of bits this one is completely safe as there are no costs involved at all.

Outside I have a large steel rack which needs to be gone in the short time.

On this is a decent quantity of steel bar, round and hex, may be a bit of square ?

As it's been outside it's rusty but under the rust it's good steel so if you are not critical of surface finish it's good.

Material grades are EN1, EN1A there are no mystery metals and it machines nice. Probably from 1/2" up to 2" in size. Odd bits of 4"

      IT'S FREE !!!

Now for the rub, it's collection only NG10 area, 5 minutes from J24 / J25 of the M1.

Have a decent power saw and can cut to size. I expect anyone wanting any to call and collect at any reasonable time [ not Saturdays, that's girl friend day ] and take what they can usefully use as opposed to grabbing everything and hoarding it.

PM me if interested. I need the space.

If you weren't so %#^* far away I'd be there like a shot.

One of the downsides of living in the 'bulge', no motorways.

Geoff – Hmm, it's not that bad come to think of it

If it wasn't that I was 19,000K away, I'd be round on my bike, some modellers are going to have a "ball" building bar stock models.

I had the pleasure of meeting John for the first time today and picked up a really useful selection of steel for my lathe projects.

                            Thank you, John,

I know it's a bit late, but many thanks for the Free Steel, John.

As promised, I've given a donation to MacMillan Nurses.
