Hello everyone,

my name is Karl, I’m 64 and I’m from Germany, near Düsseldorf.

I have several hobbies in the field of model making, but I find steam engines particularly very interesting, and I like it very much. I already have a steam boat and three locomotives in 45 mm gauge. I have a small milling machine and a small lathe at my disposal. The reason I joined this forum is that there’s a wealth of knowledge here, especially in the land of the steam engine. Now I’m very interested in a steam traction engine in 1 to 1 and a half inch size. I hope I’ve come to the right place.

Hi Carl, welcome to the forum. Look up 1.5″ Bassett Lowke 7Hp Burrell, this is a well known Model for which I have drawings which may help you. Best wishes, Noel.
