      I have just received a suitably small [17ml] quantity of this wonder product, and am seeking advice from any modeller who has used it.

      It’s an Acrylic paint

      My use will be to make backgrounds for small specimens within ‘dry mounts’ on microscope slides … so basically I want to produce a perfect black patch of [say] 20mm diameter.

      Your hints and tips regarding choice of substrate, application technique, etc. would be most welcome.
