Has any of our horologist friends ever removed a broken curb pin from a platform escapement. and replaced it. Any advice would be welcome.

I probably should said that I have a staking tool. And have made and fitted a chronometer balance staff. Years ago I used to repair watches, main springs and complete balances etc.

              .

Sorry, Roy … your question simply reminded me of the long-running advert in the Horological Journal.

                    Well-found, Niko yes

@ Roy … Oops, that was presumptuous of me

The advert was, I believe placed by this chap: **LINK**

                    https://thetimepiece.co.uk

and often featured the by-line “Stuck on the Platform ?”
