Restoration and repair seem, understandably, to be popular on the forum as is an interest in aviation. Having seen some of the remarkably ambitious and accomplished projects over the years, anyone fancy reviving this aeronautical relic?

What metals are used in its construction that can be reclaimed and melted down and cast into "something" useful?? Can see what may be a lot of cylinder blocks etc..

As we have not had any rain recently in the UK we soon will need to water. That would make one hell of a lawn sprinkler.

I just knew there would be a wealth of possibilities!!

Circlip – I suspect that given its function there will be a lot of Titanium or something equally exotic, particularly the 'Jesus' nut!! Done a few hours on the beast and not my favourite – our Gallic allies have made better but all their rotors go round the wrong way!
