Hi all I'm thinking of upgrading my lathe to a 3 hp motor just after a review for a at1 2200x vfd the Chinese eBay ones just after people thoughts for running one with a 3 hp motor thanks in advance

Hi Sean

You need to know all the details on the motor plate to choose the correct unit for the task, if you get 1 that is rated to at least provide adequate current and voltage to suit the motor I don't see any problems.
When you've got it all sorted please report back with your findings.
