I'm having trouble posting pictures. Understand creating an album and attaching from that. However, having typed a logical text and attached my pictures in a logical order, the system just chucks the pictures anywhere in the post and in any order. What am I doing wrong?

Place the cursor where you want the image to be then click the camera icon and select image which should appear where the cursor was flashing.

I find it easiest to make a four line end of paragraph / line feed / return space. Insert the picture before the second one. Restart the text before the fourth one.

That gives me a positive line space above and below the picture making it easy to edit or add text. If you just insert the picture in line the next text, or picture, insertion point is at the bottom right edge of the picture. Hard to see and harder to find. Due to text line lengths in the new post box being different to the actual post line line length (on my Mac anyway) automatic line wrap can give odd effects. Hate those odd two or three words straight after a picture. I always miss them and have to go back. With positive line feed separators what you see is what you get.

Sometimes I remove the redundant lines before position sometimes I just cant be bothered.

I either give photos in the album meaningful names or note what the camera name refers to make them easier to find later. Then I insert the wanted photo into the text as I type rather than doing all the text first and then adding & sorting images at the end. Both methods work, but inserting as you go probably has the cursor in the right place already and it proves the picture is placed correctly immediately. If wrong it can be deleted and reinserted after repositioning the cursor. I find it easier to correct image position mistakes one at a time rather than move several photos at the end.

Hi, I've found that when I post a picture after a bit of text, the cursor automatically assumes the start position i.e. top left hand of the page. Therefore you either have to position the cursor manually after the photo that you have just inserted, or the best method is to press the down arrow key to get the cursor at the bottom of the left hand side of the picture and then press the right hand arrow key to get the cursor to the bottom right hand side of the picture and then press the return key. You can then carry on typing till you put in another picture and then repeat the above method, takes longer to explain than to actually do, you just have to remember to do it after every picture you insert.

                Regards Nick.

                  Hi all,

Thanks for that very helpful advice.
