My 254 is losing oil from the apron. I have identified the oils seal required. Can anyone who has experience of fitting these offer any tips on how difficult this job is likely to be and what problems to look at for?

Mine also slowly loses oil from the apron. I have the more pragmatic solution, catch it in a tray and use it to lubricate the bed of the lathe and milling machine, However when you do find out how to do it let us know, sometime I might get round to doing it properly!
