I have at last got my Myford Super 7/7R lathe working, it was assembled from parts I was given and used parts bought from e-bay it is a mk1, mk2 hybrid.

I have this book MYFORD SERIES 7 MANUAL which was useful during the assembly

Are there any other books by Sparey or Westbury that are specific to using a Myford lathe?

Ken,

It is worth getting an original Myford handbook which can be obtained from "new" Myford. Also try the net as there are some PDFs of Myford manuals available for free.
